We are a small team of Occupational Therapists based in Cornwall and South Yorkshire, with a Speech and Language Therapist in South Yorkshire. We specialise in Ayres Sensory Integration therapy and were proud nominees of the 2023 National Diversity Awards.
Sensory foOTsteps was founded in 2022 by Specialist Occupational Therapist and Director of Sensory foOTsteps, Holly Fenton, following for over 15 years working with autistic children, young people and adults. It was driven by a passion to create a bespoke holistic service which is flexible to children's needs and provides a meaningful interest-led Occupational Therapy service to neurodivergent children and young people. Free from constraints, accessible and fun.
What you can expect from us
At Sensory foOTsteps we are all about embracing differences, acknowledging and problem solving challenges, and overcoming barriers. We are proud to be neurodiversity affirming professionals; experienced and understanding. We are a passionate team and always put the needs of the child or young person at the heart of everything we do.
At Sensory foOTsteps we work directly with children and their caregivers, local authorities, schools, adoption and fostering services, case managers, solicitors and other healthcare professionals to support children to reach their self-directed goals; promote independence, confidence and strategies for self-regulation.
We have been making some changes to our IT systems, processes and phone lines to streamline our service. Our online booking will resume on the 3/6/2024
We are also pleased to announce a permanent clinic location for Cornwall/Devon area in Launceston and local therapy support. Our Doncaster clinic continues to run as usual with our full time staff team.
